Travertine

Travertine is a type of sedimentary and decorative stone. Most travertine stones have low abrasion resistance. So, they are easy to process but have good compressive strength (their compressive strength is higher than marble and less than granite) but its high strength and porosity provide working conditions in saturated and high environments.
The main constituent minerals of travertine are calcite and aragonite. Coating materials and so-called resins during the processing and polishing of stone, reduce its water absorption and one of its effects is that the stone gets dirty later and is less exposed to weathering; Therefore, the quality of polishing is remarkable in its durability and beauty for a long time. Travertines can be used on the building facade even in very cold and rainy areas without worrying about dropping stones. Travertine can also be used in the interior of the building, such as stairs.
