Tile
The term “stone tile” is derived from the French word “tuile,” which was created from the Latin term “tigula,” which means “roof tile” and refers to burned clay. A tile is a thin item with a square or rectangle shape. This stone is a finished item that does not undergo further processing. In general, we can define a tile as a piece of hard material that is covered in ceramic, stone, metal, baked clay, or even glass. In various areas of the house, this stone is employed in building.

How does the manufacturer make tile?
Block cutting comes first
A machine known as a stone block cutting machine performs the majority of the stone processing and block cutting in tile stone factories. This tool can cut stone using a single disc or many discs working in tandem (multi disc). The second step is to cut with a specific thickness
The stones are chopped and then formed into sheets of various thicknesses. This thickness varies depending on how the stone is used and the production facility. Naturally, the price and strength of the stone will decrease as the thickness decreases.

What tile thickness is ideal for stone?
Two centimeters is the most typical thickness in Iran for cutting stones for floors and facades. The thickness of the cut is 18 mm or even less in certain companies. In order to process various stones that are the most expensively priced, several manufacturers in the city of Isfahan in Mahmood Abad Industrial Town, Daulat Abad Industrial Town, as well as Rezvanshahr, have decreased the cutting thickness to 14 mm. By doing this, the consumer may pay a lower ultimate price, but it is important to highlight that this stone is unquestionably weaker.
Restoration of the stone is the third stage.
The stones are transferred for the final processing after being cut with the stone block cutting machine gadget. Mastic resins are typically employed when the stone is highly porous. Polyester resins serve as the foundation for the production of mastic resins. This epoxy glue need to be applied if the stone includes cracks or other chemicals.
The final stage is processing.
At this point, the stone needs to go through one last processing step after being restored. Stones are often sanded and glass polished for processing. As a result, the stone’s beauty is more apparent while still exhibiting its inherent characteristics.
